Greater Houston Group's owner/broker, Jerry Ashmore, is a veteran real estate professional with over 30 years of commercial real estate expertise and is known for his high standards of ethical behavior and professional integrity. He has proven experience with sales and marketing of multi-million dollar office buildings, retail centers, office warehouses and undeveloped land.
Jerry was a young skilled commercial land sales broker in the 1980’s when the real estate market crashed. His involvement with government foreclosures in this era allowed him to center his attention on the process of management, leasing and brokering income-producing properties.
Jerry received his BBA in marketing from the University of Houston in 1975. The knowledge he achieved from courses he took in the Commercial Investment Real Institute and the Institute of Real Estate Management allowed him to become qualified and confident to handle acquisition, disposition, management and/or leasing of multi-million dollar properties
Jerry, along with his wife, Dee and sons Jared and Jake, have been blessed in this family owned and operated business located in the dynamic commercial real estate market of Northwest Houston. This area offers a diversified economic base for commercial real estate investors.
Jared graduated college from Dallas Christian with a Bachelors Degree in Cross-Cultural Studies. He specializes in sales and leasing for individual or corporate users. His primary responsibilities include developing new business relationships, market research, property management, lease negotiations and renewals for current or prospective tenants. Jared has strong analytical and market knowledge of certain areas, and enjoys assisting his clients with the process of a real estate transaction. His goal is to make sure that dedication and honesty be applied in every way for the benefit of all parties involved.
Jake upon receiving his degree from Texas State University joined Greater Houston Group full time and has quickly become a knowledgeable real estate professional. He has focused himself in retail and office lease transactions, Tenant and Landlord representation, property/construction management as well as acquisition and disposition of income producing properties. Jake believes his dedication, integrity, and work ethic offers his investors and tenants a competitive advantage.
